Soul Survivor runs various events throughout the year. Our biggest are four 5 day summer conferences that in 2011 attracted around 30,000 people.

Although we have fairly strict marketing policies (we believe the people who come to our events want to leave knowing they've met with Jesus not 250 new flyers) there are various opportunities to get your organisation involved.

At our summer events we have a designated 'Resource Area' (also known as the ToolShed) where exhibitors and organisations can have a bit of space to let people know what they get up to.

about soul survivor

Soul Survivor is a Christian charity committed to envisioning young people to first capture a vision of Jesus and then equip, train, empower and release them into His ministry in their every day lives.

Our main focus is the summer conference programme. In 20 this consists of three conferences aimed at secondary school age people and one which targets students and twenty-something's.


the resource area/toolshed

At each event there is a resources area. The vision for this venue is to provide delegates with the widest range of resources and opportunities possible, whilst reflecting Soul Survivor’s vision and values.

As one of the most popular venues on site, this is where delegates can find out about opportunities to serve, learn more about the Christian resources available and make a difference in the wider world.

Finally, it is the place where they can access resources that will help them remember and apply what they’ve learned at Soul Survivor to their situations at home and in local communities.

We welcome all exhibitors/retailers who are in sympathy with Soul Survivor’s vision and values and recognise the key role the resource area plays in the overall mission.

which event?

Soul Survivor is hosting four events this summer, the target audiences are different so take a look and think about which will be the most appropriate for you.

Soul Survivor A: Fri 27th -Tues 31st July 2012
Soul Survivor A is at the Stafford Showground and aimed at secondary school age. We are expecting an attendance of approximately 4000 predominately secondary school age people at the event.

Soul Survivor Week B: Tues 7th – Sat 11th August 2012
Soul Survivor Week C: Sun 12th – Thurs 16th August 2012
Soul Survivor B and C (aimed at secondary school age) will see as many as 22,000 young people pass through the Royal Bath and West Showground over the 10 days. The same exhibition venue runs at both events which means you must commit to the whole 10 days.

Momentum: Fri 17th – Tues 21st August 2012
Momentum is aimed at students and twenty-something's. Held at the Royal Bath and West Showground we’re expecting an attendance of approximately 4000.

when is it open?

The Toolshed is open to delegates every day of the conference:
Day one (arrival day): from 9:15pm - 11.30pm
Days two to five: 1:00pm-5:30pm and again from 9:15pm-11:30pm


The ToolShed will also be open for re-stocking from 12:00pm and 8:30pm for exhibitors and cafe team only. For security reasons it is not possible to access the venue outside these hours without prior agreement.

The cost of stands depends upon the amount of space you request and the event(s) you wish to attend. For more information including booking application, deadlines, terms and conditions, please read the 'Organisation Application' document below.

We offer registered charities a 50% discount on the exhibiting costs below.
Plus we offer a £100 discount if you book for all Soul Survivor events.

stand and people

Once accepted to exhibit, you must supply Soul Survivor with Exhibitor Team Application forms for each person representing the organisation at the event.

Each space booked qualifies for two free team places but only if Team Application
Forms are received before 30th April 2012. You can of course bring additional team members at the full rate and we offer charities a 50% discounted place for a third person at each event (but again, this concession is only available
until 30th April).

Team/Exhibitor applications received after 30th April forfeit the two free places team places meaning all exhibitor team members must pay in full (which is £104 for each event).

Substitutions to team made on or after the 30th April will be charged an additional £15.

To book your team on to the event simply fill in and return the Exhibitor Team.

restrictions

Essentially we allow anything that helps the delegates relationship with God. We do ask for an inventory of goods being sold, to be sent through to Soul Survivor by 30th April 2012 for approval.

Soul Survivor reserves the right to ask any organisation to refrain from selling any product which is deemed unsuitable.

All merchandise sold must be in line with the stated vision and values of the Toolshed and therefore should be a resource to our delegates and /or directly support your charitable trust, not for profit.

other opportunities to promote your organisation...


advertise?

It is our aim to equip our delegates in every way possible, not only by providing relevant seminars and workshops, but by making a variety of resources and opportunities available to them. One way that we do this is by offering advertising space in our conference programme to organisations such as yours.

Adverts provide your organisation with the opportunity to reach over 30,000 teenagers and young adults with details of what you can offer them. We will be producing a different programme for each event, although the same advertising will be used throughout all four events.

The Soul Survivor programme is used by our delegates throughout the event. It contains the daily planner, information about speakers, on-site activities and relevant Soul Survivor articles. Delegates take it home, show it to friends, and often keep it as a souvenir. Acceptance of advertisements is at Soul Survivor’s discretion. Not all applicants will be able to be accepted.

Please note, we can't accept adverts for Gap Year placements/schemes.
The advertising rates are as follows:

Advert on the Toolshed noticeboard: £20 per event
Pull up banner space in the main foyer: £150 per event
Hanging banner space from the balcony: £100 per event (B, C and Momentum only)
*VAT will be charged on all promotional opportunities at a rate of 20%. Charities are exempt from VAT charges for advertising.

You'll also need to tell us exactly who'll be manning the stand by 30th April 2012 at the very latest. You'll have to do this for each volunteer (max of two per space per week) by filling in the following form:

deadlines: please read...

Team applications received after 30th April 2012 will forfeit the right to concessionary places and will instead need to pay the full event fee per person, so don't miss the deadline!!

Please note that substitutions or changes to team applications after 30th April 2012 will incur a £15 penalty fee.
