The night times are the right times.! As darkness descends on Momentum each night something happens to our venues... not in a scary way, just in a 'oohh they are a bit different now the sun has gone down way'. Have a dance, sing song or pint of beer with your mates in one of the following venues.
A chance to end the day giving the glory back to God. This is time set aside to sing, shout, dance or think your heart out. Less formality and structure than our main meetings these sessions are our chance to continue what God has started in our lives. You can’t get me, I’m part of the union! In fact we can get you. We have a new technique. It’s called music and you’re bound to come round if we play some good tunes for you to dance, chill out or sing along to. And guess what, he’d be wearing a purple velvet jump suit, snakeskin shoes and outlandish shades (even in the dark). Get ready to do the mashed potato to these reincarnations of the JB’s…
*The vid above is of 'Our Dad'. They've been our resident Cafe Uno band over the last few years. They aren't yet confirmed for 2010...
Kind of like a drive through without the cars and open air bit, is Celluloid. We’ve hand built our very own cinema for all film buffs (like Dawson) and aspiring thespians to mingle together whilst staring at the silver (actually, technicolour) screen. The latest blockbusters and classic flicks to help you can switch off for an evening and pretend to be a superhero, pirate or film director....
